Some say it's not about the camera and the lens; it's about the creativity. Whilst I don't entirely disagree, I'd argue that both aspects are equally important. Selecting the appropriate equipment for the task is a hallmark of a professional cinematographer. My journey began with a Canon 5D Mark II, and over time, I've accrued more cine gear, to the point where I even started a rental business. I'm so familiar with every piece of equipment that I can determine the best tools for any given job.
